How Coastal & Co. confirms a booking
When a customer accepts a quote, Mia normally checks whether the deposit has arrived. Once it has, she changes the booking spreadsheet to confirmed and emails the customer. Then she adds the event to the shared calendar and messages the kitchen team so they know it’s coming.
About a week before the event we ask for final guest numbers and dietary requirements. I think Mia usually does that too, unless Liam is already dealing with the customer.
If there’s a serious allergy or anything unusual, someone checks with the kitchen before confirming what we can do.
We’re also supposed to use the latest event checklist, although there are a couple of versions in the shared folder and I’m not sure everyone uses the same one.
